Islington Tribune writes up the 'Dream to Change the World' exhibition
The 'Dream to Change the World' exhibition has had a full and informative write up recently in the weekly independent paper Islington Tribune.
In her article 'Spreading the words', Angela Cobbinah describes John La Rose as 'Eager to demonstrate the integral link between art and politics, he was a founder member of the groundbreaking Caribbean Artists Movement, which attempted to define a black cultural aesthetic.' Cobbinah writes that the exhibition '...is as much an important record of early black political struggles and creative and intellectual awakenings as it is of La Rose's own extraordinary journey.'
Positive feedback continues to encourage all of us at the GPI and we thank everyone for their continued support!
